Sampler
Samples can be loaded into
a synthesizer patch, used as instruments automatically across
the keyboard range, used at a specific pitch, and/or you
can even map multiple samples (eg drum kit) across the
selected keyboard range... just like a real hardware
sampler. These samples can also be fed through any of the
processing modules, so you could for example filter a
drum and bass sample loop, add effects, and even use a
sample as the basis of a synthesized sound.
